Earth Day and Ethical Consumption

April 22nd is Earth Day.

Ethical consumerism is a huge part of earth day. To take one example, food is estimated to account for 20-30% of global greenhouse gas emissions, and livestock alone accounts for 14.5%! We all have to make choices as consumers several times a day – and some options are far better than others. In order to help yourself and others to make good choices, I believe that the best approach is to weigh the options, make a conscious decision, and then communicate your opinion to others via an online review.

Competition: write an ethical review!

My mission here is to encourage you to write an ethical review online about a product or a local business and join in the Green Stars movement! Only through collective action can we hold companies accountable for their impact on the planet.

The incentive, besides just doing the right thing and also doing a little activism, is that you can also win a prize and, at the same time, support the conservation work done by the WWF.
