The carbon footprint of Christmas

As COP27 wraps up and we get closer to welcoming 2023, it seems appropriate to talk about the carbon footprint of Christmas. I have two sites, both focused on ethical consumerism.

The Green Stars Project is essentially a grassroots movement to hold corporations accountable – a democratic “Green Stars” rating system for social and environmental impact. The GSP blog engages in objective, science-based discussion of social and environmental topics relevant to ethical consumption.

Ethical Bargains is focused on case studies, evaluating products (especially plant-based food purchased at the Grocery Outlet) and rating them for social and environmental impact.
