I’m sharing this Ethical Bargains post as a continuation of last week’s discussion on whether we should support organic agriculture. It examines a product from Earthbound Farm, a company labeled by Michael Pollan as “Big Organic.”
Thank you for bearing with me on these long GSP posts on certifications. I wanted to be as comprehensive as possible (within reason) in each of them so that firm conclusions could be reached. This series of posts will form the foundation of a chapter on third-party certifications for my upcoming book. Just one* more to go – next week’s post will examine seafood certifications.
*If you’d like me to cover any other specific certifications, let me know!
After that, I’m going to share an outline for my book-in-progress and a sample or two.
Then I’ll move on to a series of topics related to the last major chapter of my book.
Cheers!

Thanks for the rating. I don’t recall ever buying Earthbound Farm’s produce.

You’re probably luck enough to have a market nearby that sells loose greens?

We’re privileged to be able to buy a wide variety of loose fresh fruits and greens at our local supermarkets and Farmers’ Market.
